FEATURES

UltraFlex™

PROCAB’s ultra-flexible cable technology is ideal for on stage use.
Your cable will remain straight and flat on the stage floor no matter how it is treated. The PVC outer jacket provides a flexible but solid feel while making it able to withstand an extreme amount of bending cycles.

Ultraflex™

HighFlex™

The flexible and solid PVC outer jacket makes it the perfect cable for many kinds of applications. The smooth outer jacket provides great and easy pulling capabilities to guide the cable through a truss or around a corner while still offering perfect rolling and unrolling performance for highly demanding mobile applications.

Highflex™

DuraFlex™

PROCAB’s Duraflex™ technology is based on the highest grade of materials for its outer jacket to withstand extreme circumstances and mechanic impact. It remains flexible in low temperatures and maintains superior abrasion resistance. The UV protection makes sure that the cable maintains its mechanical properties and doesn’t turn brittle after long-term sun exposure.

Duraflex™

LSHF

LSHF stands for Low Smoke, Halogen Free. This term refers to Halogen free flame-retardant thermoplastic material used as a sheathing compound in cables. In the event of a fire or when exposed to high levels of heat, the chemicals in the jacket removes heat from the flame, whilst the reaction produces water as a by-product to help quench the flame.  As a result, the cable will emit very low levels of smoke, and non-toxic levels of poisonous halogen gasses.

IEC60332

The outer jacket of all PROCAB cables complying to IEC60332 will extinguish itself when that cable is briefly exposed to a small flame.

Meter indicator

For ease of installation these bulk cables are provided with an indication on every meter of the cable. This enables installers to have a clear and efficient indication of how many meters they still have available on their reel.

Bi-jacketed

The combination of a hard and solid inner jacket and a soft outer jacket provides great flexibility with a solid touch, even after numerous times of winding and unwinding.

PUR

When flexibility, abrasion and oil resistance have to be guaranteed, PUR cables are an excellent choice. PUR is known for being Halogen free, not containing chlorine, iodine, fluorine, bromine or astatine.  This jacket type does however have a limited temperature range compared to the other jacket types, -40…80⁰C.

Shrinksleeve

Shrink sleeves are meant to protect company logo’s or cable tags, they are factory installed for the purpose of placing a cable tag without the need to detach the connector. The heat shrink tubing can be easily shrunk by means of a heat gun. The sleeves are not lined with glue and have a length of 60mm. To achieve the most optimal care for your cable connection the sleeve is best to be placed 30 cm from the connector.

Cotton paper

The cotton paper separator ensures less friction between the outer jacket and the PVS conductor isolation, creating good flexibility and flex life.

Gold plated

The connectors that are fitted with gold plated contacts have the advantage of preventing oxidation and maintain performance after years of use. Another great property of gold is that it is an excellent electrical conductor. For comparison, if pure copper has a relative conductivity of 100 then gold is only 31% lower than copper, while nickel is 76% lower than copper.

Silver contacts

The connectors that are fitted with silver contacts have the advantage of preventing oxidation and maintain performance after years of use. Silver has the highest conductivity, even better than copper and much better than gold. It’s also soft, which means the mating connectors squeeze together making a larger contact area, and thus lower contact resistance. Silver is also easy to solder, which makes soldered connections to silver plated connectors likewise reliable and extremely conductive.
